Plate Cooler

Stainless Steel M Series Heat Exchangers

The M Series Heat Exchanger is a precision engineered unit which can increase the efficiency of your product heating and cooling process, and help ensure the quality of your product stays at its peak. It will solve your product heating and cooling needs hygienically, efficiently, economically, and can be quickly adapted for use in other applications where liquid heating/cooling transfer is necessary for low viscosity products.

The Heat Exchanger can be installed with a flow configuration through the plates to suit a variety of needs, depending on the volume of product processed the services fluid supply available, and the degree of cooling/heating desired. A calculation service is available to determine the optimum unit size for you application.

These Plate Heat Exchangers are tailored to best suit your needs. Four Bolt units are available with any number from 18 to 104 plates, from a capacity of 500 lt/hr to 6750 lt/hr of low viscosity product. Units are expandable up to 104 plates, allowing an initial small unit to be upgraded to larger duty. Multiple manifold units can satisfy larger flow duties.

Each plate features a herringbone pressing which is designed to “roll” the liquids, providing the maximum heat transfer efficiency as the product and service fluid swirl through their separate circuits in opposite directions.

Cleanliness and hygiene go hand-in-hand, and the Heat Exchangers have been designed to make cleaning as easy and thorough as possible. The external end plates feature streamlined wipe-clean surfaces with hard gleaming enamel finish. A suitable “in-place” cleaning method can be employed after each process run, by simply loosening four swing bolts, each bank of plates is quickly released for manual cleaning, with a built in safety feature preventing the plates being removed from the support bars and the chance of damage.

Top quality materials are used in the construction of each unit. Cast aluminum end plates enclose the plates, which are fabricated in annealed stainless steel. The four inlet/outlet connections, are 25mm, 38mm O.D. Stainless steel tubes, with push-on plain tube, BSP thread connections, or Tri-Clover fittings. A wall mounting bracket is available to keep the unit securely positioned and easily accessible.
